Introduction

The Bengali Association of Madison (BAM) was started in 1983 by a small group of people some of who are still part of the present group. Our simple intention is to enjoy the essence and spirit of Bengali food music and culture with each other, our children and the community in this beautiful town that we call home. We currently have about 100 members and membership and events are open to all. We are a small friendly group that is very welcoming to local students, new friends and would love for you to join us.

Bengali Association of Madison (BAM) is registered with the State of Wisconsin and Federal US Government. The Internal Revenue Service (IRS) has granted BAM a non-profit, tax exempt status (effective date: April 16, 2016).
