Naboborsho 2026

Please join us in celebrating Bengali New Year / বাংলা নববর্ষ  (পহেলা/পয়লা  বৈশাখ ১৪৩৩ ) on April 18, 2026.  The event will start at 4pm with some snacks, adda, followed by a general body meeting (GBM) to discuss BAM finances and future plans. We will have a cultural program / movie night starting at 6pm, followed by delicious dinner.  We hope to see all of you with your family and friends.

Event details (April 18, 2026, from 4pm - 10pm):

4:00 - 5:00 pm Snacks (Medhu Vada, tea / coffee)
5:00 - 6:30 pm GBM
6:30 - 7:30 pm Cultural program
7:45 - 9:00 pm Dinner 
9:00 - 10:00pm Cleaning and pack up

(Tentative dinner menu:  Veg biryani/pulao, Paneer Curry, Chicken curry, Roti/Stuffed parotha, Rasmalai, Echorer Dalna (For Veg only), Misti Doi)

Homemade sweets:

Please feel free to bring homemade sweets to share with others.

Ticket price:

Early bird price till April 11, 2026.

On or before April 11:
Adult (Member): $25.00
Adult (Non-member): $30.00
HS Student (Member/Non-member) (8 yrs and older): $15.00
(Kids under the age of 8 years do not need any ticket.)

All ticket prices will go up by $5 on April 12, and we might run out of tickets to sell at the gate. So, please purchase your tickets by April 11, 2026.
